In this article we will look into the Affiliate Marketing in conjunction with Website, WordPress and Content.

It is important that you research your Niche, select and buy a domain name based on your niche and web hosting. Do your keyword research in Google with some idea of your passion about your Niche and how you are going to build your website and become an authority  on that topic. So you need to populate your website with content on the topic of your interest.

Easiest way of putting your website online is by using WordPress. And to do this you follow the steps:

1. Register your domain name on godaddy.com

2. Buy web hosting space from HostGator. Here is a word of advise... buy web hosting for at least 24 months (if you buy for 36 months, it will be cheaper!). Why should you buy from HostGator? Because it gives you unlimited web hosting space and you can create as many email accounts you want with unlimited space. Once you complete your purchase, you will get an email with all information including the login details and you must not loose this email as it contains vital information that you would always be using. 

Refer the following image, go to your hosting account, log on to cPanel and look for "Fantastico"  select WordPress, which is basically a Content Management System and follow the instructions to install. And once it is done, you have your website online. At the same time you will get an email from WordPress with your log in information.

To change the look and feel of your website install a clean and simple free WordPress Theme - to do this go to http://wordpress.org/extend/themes and select a theme (see the picture below):

Download the zip file in your zip folder. Log in to WordPress Dashboard using your log in information and the Dashboard looks like the picture given below:

From the left side Menu, select "Appearance", click on "Themes", then click on "Install Themes", click on "Upload" and browse through your Zip folder and select the Theme zip file (remember! do not unzip!) and then click "Install Now" and you have a new theme! You can download as many themes and install as above, preview and use the one you like by activating it.

3. Now you are ready to put your content on your website. Go into "Posts", select "Add New" and you will see the note pad as shown below opens. Give a category and give a title to your post and then add content for your Niche Topics, "Preview" it and "Publish" it!

You also need to do some more tweaking to your website for maximizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and for that you install a plugin "All-in-One SEO". For doing research on your niche topic, products and content, you can view similar websites and tweak your content as you like, make at least 800 words posts. Publish your website and as your website attracts more and more traffic when you learn and follow SEO techniques, keep on adding more useful content to it and grow your website. People will be arriving on your website reading your content and clicking on the links for more information and if they like your product they will buy your affiliate products and you make money. 1. Don't Just Concentrate on Selling ... Go out and Help!

2. Do Not Join Too Many Affiliate Programs!

3. Not Yet Testing
